This page provides the information and resources you will need to enroll a new or returning student in Golden Plains Unified School District. Below, you will find helpful links, instructions, and tutorials to guide you through the registration and enrollment process.

Please keep the following information in mind:

• Only a parent or legal guardian may register a student for school.
• Students are generally enrolled in their designated resident/home school based on their place of residence.
• Families interested in having their student attend a school other than their resident/home school may obtain information and applicable transfer forms through the Golden Plains Unified School District Office.
• Parents and guardians should be prepared to provide all required enrollment and residency documentation as part of the registration process.

If you have questions regarding Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, student registration, enrollment requirements, residency, or required documentation, please contact your resident/home school for assistance.

• Step 1:
  Complete the online registration process using Aeries Online Enrollment. The process consists of asking for information about your child and filling out required forms.
• Step 2:
  After completing the online registration process, a member of the school site staff will reach out to you to schedule an appointment to finish the enrollment process. At that time, you'll need to bring one of the following items:

• Certified copy of a birth record
• Statement by the local registrar or country recorder certifying the date of birth
• Baptism certificate
• Passport
• Affidavit of the parent, guardian, or custodian of the minor

• And one of the following items:

• Property tax payment receipts
• Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts
• Utility service contract, statement, or payment receipts
• Pay stubs
• Voter registration
• Correspondence from a government agency
• Declaration of residency executed by the parent or legal guardian of the pupil

Interdistrict and Intradistrict Transfer Policies

Golden Plains Unified School District recognizes that every student and family may have unique circumstances and educational needs that deserve thoughtful consideration. To support our families, the District has established procedures that may allow students to attend a school other than the school assigned based on their residential address and established Golden Plains Unified School District attendance boundaries.
